Two lines on one plate: PLANT ROOM over UNAUTHORISED ENTRY PROHIBITED. This is the version specified when the room holds switchgear, pumps, lift motors or pressurised equipment and the owner wants the restriction stated on the door rather than assumed, which matters in buildings where contractors, cleaners and tenants move through back-of-house areas unescorted.
The plate is 600mm x 100mm horizontal in satin natural anodised aluminium, silver brushed composite or white composite. Both legend lines sit within that 100mm height, so the text is smaller than on the single-line PLANT ROOM plate — worth knowing if the door is viewed from the far end of a long corridor, where the single-line version reads better. Finish and format otherwise match the rest of the statutory range, so it sits alongside riser, roof access and fire services plates without looking like an afterthought.
Restricted-access signage is about keeping unqualified people away from live services; it does not discharge the operator's duty to keep the room locked and the keys controlled. Mount it centred on the leaf at eye level with structural tape, or on the adjacent wall face. $35, SKU UNI_SS_132.
