Safety Signs — Made in Sydney, Shipped Australia-Wide

This is the largest category in the range, at 184 products, and it covers the signage a worksite or facility runs on day to day rather than the plates a certifier checks at handover. AS 1319 sets out how Australian safety signage is laid out and coloured, and it is what gives each class of sign its distinct look: a red Danger header for hazards that could kill or seriously injure, yellow Warning for hazards that could cause lesser harm, blue Mandatory discs for what must be done, red-crossed Prohibition discs for what must not, and green or blue Notice plates for general information.

Getting the class right matters more than the wording. A hazard that could kill somebody needs the Danger treatment, and a Notice plate in its place will not carry the same weight with a regulator or on a safety walk.

What's in this range

  • Danger signs — 48 products, the largest group, covering electrical hazards, confined spaces, incomplete scaffold and custom-text danger plates.
  • Mandatory signs — 27 products for what must be worn or done: eye and ear protection, hard hats, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear.
  • Notice signs — 26 products covering site rules, inductions, non-potable water, alarms and general information.
  • Construction signs — 24 products for site entries, hoardings and compounds, including site rules and visitor reporting.
  • Warning signs — 20 products for vehicle movements, overhead work, uneven surfaces and keep-clear areas.
  • Prohibition signs — 17 products for no entry, no smoking, no mobile phones and restricted access.
  • Floor markers and decals — 10 circular floor decals for walkways, forklift lanes and restricted areas, applied directly to the slab.
  • Pipe markers — 10 products for identifying services at the pipe.
  • Scaffolding signs — 4 products, including the incomplete-scaffold plates that go on every access point before handover.

Materials and pricing

Six substrates run through this category, and the choice is about duration and fixing rather than looks. Corflute cable-ties straight to scaffold standards and mesh, and is cheap enough to leave behind at the end of a job. Polypropylene suits temporary internal work. Aluminium 1.6mm is for plates that get screwed or riveted to masonry, steel or a post and stay there. Composite — White (ACM) is flat and rigid for door faces and internal walls, and sticker or decal (SAV) goes onto glass, columns and bollards where drilling is not an option.

Prices start at $7.50 and run to $300 for large-format work, with most of the range around $28. Quantity discounts apply automatically from 10 signs, which is usually how these are ordered — by the interface or the access point rather than one at a time.
