Traffic Signs for Private Property

These 75 products are for traffic and parking control on land you manage: car parks, loading docks, service yards, industrial estates, apartment basements and school grounds. They cover speed limits, parking allocation and restriction, directional control, no stopping and no parking, and the pedestrian and vehicle separation that a traffic management plan calls for.

One thing to settle before ordering. Signage on a public road is a matter for the road authority or council, which specifies both the sign and its installation. What is sold here is for private land, where the property owner or manager decides what goes up. If the area you are signing is a public thoroughfare rather than private property, check with your council first.

What's in this range

  • Traffic — 63 products covering parking control, directional arrows, entry and exit, no stopping, keep left and right, one way, and accessible and reserved bay identification.
  • Speed signs — 12 products covering the speed limits used across car parks, private roads and site access.

Materials and mounting

Three substrates are offered. Aluminium 1.6mm is the usual choice for anything outdoors or post-mounted, where the plate has to survive weather and the occasional knock. Composite — White (ACM) suits basement columns, rendered walls and undercroft decks. Polypropylene covers temporary and provisional allocations, where a bay may change hands with a tenancy and the plate is likely to be swapped.

Most of these are mounted on posts, bollards or columns at driver eye height, positioned so the sign is read before the decision point rather than at it. Prices run from $10.45 to $42.53, with most of the range around $28, and quantity discounts apply automatically from 10 signs — which suits a car park being signed in one pass.
