Plant rooms hold the machinery that keeps a building running — air handling units, chillers, pumps and switchgear — and the door needs to say so before anyone opens it. This plate reads MECHANICAL PLANT ROOM across the top with UNAUTHORISED ENTRY PROHIBITED beneath, so the room is identified and the restriction stated on the one sign.
