This is the original Statutory Signs scaffold danger plate, UNI_DRS_014, from $10.45, reading SCAFFOLDING INCOMPLETE / DO NOT USE. Order this one if the plates already on site carry this artwork and you want the new ones to match; the V2 version carries the same instruction on redrawn artwork.
Under the WHS regulations applying in NSW, incomplete scaffold is to be kept out of use until it is complete and inspected, and scaffolding work with a fall risk over four metres is licensed high risk work. Check what applies in your jurisdiction. The sign is how that exclusion is made obvious to everyone walking past. It sits alongside the scaffold tag, not instead of it, and it comes down when the scaffold is handed over.
For a perimeter scaffold on a street frontage, corflute at 600 x 450mm is a sensible combination: big enough to read from the footpath, cheap enough to cable-tie to the standards and leave behind. Step down to 450 x 300mm or 300 x 225mm for a single bay or an access ladder, or up to 900 x 600mm where the scaffold sits well back behind a hoarding. The substrate list is the same five as the V2 plate, so aluminium 1.6mm, white composite (ACM), polypropylene and sticker decal (SAV) are all in the dropdown.
