Danger Signs – Custom Text

A danger sign made to your wording, in the layout AS 1319 sets out for the occupational environment — DANGER in white on a red oval inside a black rectangle, above a message panel carrying your text.

The header is the part that carries the meaning. Under AS 1319, DANGER is reserved for a hazard that will cause death or serious injury if the instruction is ignored; WARNING and CAUTION are used where the consequence is lower. That grading is worth getting right, because a DANGER header on a trip hazard teaches a site to stop reading them.

Use this where the hazard on your site does not map onto a stock legend — a specific plant item, a particular process, a named substance, a site-specific instruction.
