Female & Female Ambulant Toilets Portrait

Where a female amenity contains an ambulant cubicle and both are reached through the one entry, the identification has to cover both. That is what this portrait sign does: the female and female ambulant symbols with braille and tactile text on a single plate, so a person does not have to read two signs or open a door to work out what is inside. An ambulant cubicle, for the record, is a cubicle fitted with grabrails for people who can walk but need support. The portrait format is the one to take when the wall space beside the door is narrow rather than wide. Confirm your setout before choosing a size — the sign wants a clean flat area on the latch side, clear of the door swing, and the position is part of what an access consultant signs off on. The face is moulded from one piece of acrylic, so the graphics and characters are part of the panel rather than separate pieces stuck to a surface that can lift in a wet, heavily cleaned room. Small or Large, White Text or Black Text, $135. Double-sided tape is supplied for fixing.
