Plant Room Sign

A plant room door needs one thing on it, which is the room's name. This is that plate: PLANT ROOM on a 600mm x 100mm horizontal face, the narrow statutory strip that sits above the handle line or across the top rail without fouling a closer, a vision panel or the door furniture.

Decide first whether the name on its own is enough. Where access to the room is restricted, the version that adds UNAUTHORISED ENTRY PROHIBITED on a second line states the restriction on the same plate, and that is a separate product, UNI_SS_132, same size and same price. This one is for the plant rooms, risers and services cupboards that need naming rather than policing, and for base-building sets where the access restriction is carried on its own sign.

It is made in satin natural anodised aluminium, silver brushed composite (ACM) or white composite (ACM). Anodised is the base-building default through plant corridors because it takes knocks and cleaning; white is the one to pick where the door is painted white and silver would sit oddly against it.
